Technology partnership
KKM Partners × QBS Software
Enterprise software, bought through one accountable channel. KKM Partners works with QBS Software Africa so you get the licences you need and honest advice on which ones you need, from the same team.
Why this partnership exists
Software procurement without the guesswork
Most organisations we assess have the same two problems. They pay for seats nobody uses, and they run critical work on software that fell out of support versions ago. Both are expensive, and both show up in an audit.
QBS Software Africa, formerly Maxtec, is the regional arm of an international software licensing and distribution group. Its delivery platform connects vendors, partners and end users through a single procurement environment, with more than 12,500 software solutions available.
KKM Partners sits between that catalogue and your business. We start with what you actually use and what your risk position requires. Then we source it through QBS, bought locally in rand. You get one conversation covering the advice and the purchase, with nobody selling to a target.

Working in a sector that is not listed? Tell us what you do and we will say plainly whether we are the right firm.
AWS Marketplace
Buy through AWS Marketplace, without the complexity
If your organisation already spends on AWS, buying software through AWS Marketplace can simplify billing and draw down existing commitments. In practice the process takes some navigating.
QBS Software Africa is one of a small number of AWS Designated Sellers of Record. It handles the operational and commercial side, including private offers, so software can be bought through the channel your finance team prefers. We help you decide whether Marketplace is the right route for a purchase, and QBS makes it happen.
How it works
From licence review to renewal, handled
1
Licence review
We map what you own, what you use and what is out of support. You receive a written position you could hand to an auditor.
2
Right-size and recommend
We recommend what to cut, what to keep and what is missing, matched to your risk and not to a sales target.
3
Source and procure
We procure through QBS Software Africa, locally in rand, through the channel that suits your finance process, including AWS Marketplace where it fits.
4
Track and renew
Renewal dates are tracked, so nothing lapses quietly and nothing renews that should have been cancelled.
Do we have to change our current software?
No. The review often confirms that most of what you run is right. We only recommend changes where something is unused, unsupported or leaving you exposed.
Can we pay in rand?
Yes. Software sourced through the partnership is bought locally in rand.
Can you supply software from a vendor we already use?
Usually. The QBS platform covers more than 12,500 solutions. Tell us what you run and we will confirm availability before anything else.
Do we need to be an AWS customer?
No. AWS Marketplace is one route among several. We only suggest it when it suits how your organisation already buys.

Find out what you are paying for and not using
A licence review starts with a short conversation about what you run today. It ends with a written position and a clear recommendation.
